Founded in 2014, FC Goa is a professional football club competing in the Indian Super League (ISL). Based in the vibrant state of Goa, India, the club is co-owned by entrepreneurs Jaydev Mody, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, and Venugopal Dhoot.
The club has established itself as a powerhouse in Indian football, known for its attractive, attacking style of play. FC Goa became the first Indian club to qualify for the group stage of the AFC Champions League in 2021, a historic milestone for Indian football.
Our home ground is the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Margao, which transforms into a fortress of orange and blue on match days, with our passionate supporters group, the "FC Goa Fan Club," creating an electrifying atmosphere.

Read moreThe FC Goa Youth Academy, based at the Dempo Sports Complex in Panaji, is the cornerstone of the club's long-term vision. Established in 2017, it is one of the most advanced youth development setups in India.
Our academy follows a holistic curriculum that balances football education with academic progress. We have age-group teams from U-13 to U-18, all trained by UEFA and AIFF licensed coaches.
The academy has already produced several first-team players, including promising talents like Princeton Rebello and Saviour Gama. Our residential program allows young talents from across India to train and study in Goa.
In partnership with the Government of Goa, we also run the "Gaurs Grassroots" program, conducting free coaching clinics in schools across the state to identify and nurture local talent.
